Is this requirement #4 new? Does that mean pets are no longer accepted from the US?

This requirements isn't new, it was from 2007.

Looking at requirements #3 and #4, does this mean that pets from non-rabies free countries like Canada are allowed entry, but only through Jakarta International Airport, and are not allowed entry at all other access points?

Groovy Pet said...

Didn't said so, but Jakarta Airport is the one, as long as the pets have had the import permit prior arrival.

How about from Batam to US, transiting in Jakarta?
Batam is a rabies-free zone, so we will have to sneak in the vaccine.

Is there a need to quarantine in Jakarta before flying out of the country?
